The rose tteokbokki was really good. It wasn't too spicy and was enough to share with a couple people. The Orange cremesicle tasted really good but I didn't like the Jaws drink as much. We also shared the watermelon soju with the table and it tasted great. The service was really good and fast. The workers are all really nice. We were celebrating one of our friends birthdays and they gave us a complimentary hotteok.

If you're looking for amazing food, great vibes, and an owner who truly makes you feel welcome, Itaewon Pocha + Karaoke is the place to go! James, the owner, goes above and beyond to explain the menu and flavors, especially if you're new to Korean food. His recommendations never miss! The soju slushies are a must-try--they're delicious, and the soju selection overall is impressive. For food, I ordered the Cheese Boneless Buldak, and it was incredible! The flavor and spice melt in your mouth, and it's perfect for spicy food lovers. James recommended it, and it did not disappoint. I also tried the Bulgogi Kimchi Cheese Fries, and wow--easily some of the best fries I've ever had. The sauce is out of this world, and if you're a fan of kimchi fries, you absolutely need to order these. My friend Jeremy got the KFC Wings in the original flavor, and they were cooked to perfection--crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I try to come here once every week or every other week to end my work week on a high note, and James and his team always deliver an amazing experience. If you're looking for fantastic Korean food, drinks, and karaoke fun, Itaewon Pocha is the spot. Highly recommend!

This place is so colorful and lively, definitely reminded me of the pochas back in Seoul. Everything we ordered was so yummy and flavorful with generous portions especially the chicken and the ramyeon, they hit the spot! Their menu has something for all palettes and is great for sharing family style! The service was also very good , i cant wait to bring my friends here

I went here with my significant other and friend for the first time trying a Pocha the food was pretty decent. We ordered: Bulgogi Kimchi Cheese Fries- 4/5 it was a huge portion we could not finish it. Spicy Odeng Tang- 4/5 was recommended by the waitress. It was a nice stomach warming soup that came with a nice kick. Butter Squid- 3/5 one word, delicious, I really liked the jalapeño mayo that came with it. Seafood Jeon- 4/5 who doesn't like Korean seafood pancakes. Rose Tteokbokki- 4/5 the rose sauce that came with it was to die for with the right amount of sweet and savory. The ambiance consisted of k-pop music playing on all screens. Service was very efficient and friendly. They have a call button for whenever you need your server. I like that idea a lot instead of looking around for them. They'll come running whenever you press it. Overall I would venture back over here to the Spring Branch area to try other dishes and even rent out their karaoke room.

Good Korean food, chill vibes, and K-pop music for your dining experience. It's definitely a go to when you're craving good Korean food late night as they're open to 2 AM! I didn't get a chance to try their drinks but would definitely do so next time. Service was great and food was fantastic. I loved everything that I ate: * Clam soup - had jalapeños so expect a kick * So-Tteok - sausage and rice cake skewers * Bossam - steam pork belly served w/side dishes: spicy radish salad, sliced raw garlic, jalapeños, ssamjang, ssam mu, kimchi, sesame leaves, and lettuce I wish they would add a couple of televisions to play some K-pop music videos. This would liven things up a little. I will be back for some great food, much more to try from their menu!

This is a great spot if you're craving some Korean comfort food or want some late night drinks. Stopped by with some friends for a late dinner and got to try out a variety of things- we all loved the rose tteokbokki and seafood jeon. Fried chicken was fine, but was lacking a bit in terms of flavor and crunch. I agree with past reviews that the portion sizes are smaller than expected, but everything was tasty. Ambiance is typical late-night-bar vibes, with dim lighting and random photos of K-pop idols or cute animal decorations scattered throughout the restaurant. Plenty of parking outside in the lot it shares with adjacent businesses. There's a button on your table you press when you're ready to place an order. Service was really quick and friendly. We were even treated to a complimentary platter of fruits after our meal, which was totally unexpected & so nice of them! Definitely worth a try if you're in the Sping Branch area. - Ambiance: 4/5 - Food: 4/5 - Service: 5/5

Probably one of the best Korean restaurants we've found since we've moved to Houston. The korean friend chicken was bomb and the tteokbokki was exactly what I was looking for. Will definitely be returning! Service was great and ambiance is cute.

Park Seo-ro-ji, where are you? (If you know, you know) Met bestie for dinner and drinks around 6 pm. Our server was Ethan. He was friendly, helpful and attentive. It's a cute, fun spot with K-pop music and decor and a photo friendly front. We ordered: Wings (6 pieces) a honey butter flavor- crispy and juicy, taste was ok but I would have preferred if we had gotten something with a little spice Brisket and tofu stew - lots of delicious brisket, onions, tofu, kimchi - there wasn't enough soup Seafood jeon - really nice, crispy, lots of seafood and flavor Kimchi pasta - my fave, creamy but not overpowering and just the right amount of kimchi Strawberry carafe - strawberry puree, soju, lime juice, soda - really good, taste almost like punch so be careful Banchans (free) - cabbage kimchi, Mac salad, potato Def a nice spot for food and friends. We didn't feel rushed. Prices were reasonable. Will be back.

First off, type in google maps Buzz & Bites, easily missed because there is not sign YET, keep in mind they just opened at this point, its on opposing corner. Plenty of staff, great service. Decent seating, lots of tables that seat 4 or 6. Small spaces between table. when we went there was a large party maybe like 12 people where they combined the tables. We got honey butter wings, spicy soy garlic, I liked them both but the ttebokki that accompanied it was BUSSIN!!!! I ordered rosè ttebokki on the side, and I feel like it was the same base as the kimchi pasta, which is ok, but definitely share the ttebokki. I loved the kimchi pasta, because I love kimchi, and pasta. we ordered yogurt soju, and it came in a large carraffe with ice. its hard to take shots of soju with ice in it, if you know what I mean. I ordered a beer on the side because you know, chicken and beer right? the only thing I can think of that would elevate that would be a ice cold cup. that's normal for other places too right? take it easy on them because they just opened, and I actually wouldn't mind coming back again. cute photo op in the front with the mirror. and again, congrats on opening!!!!!
